LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the course, students will:
Have a competitive understanding of lighting products so they are fit for the garden environment and how to install low voltage lighting along with remote controls.
Be able to plan a lighting scheme and know the options that are available
Have an awareness of lighting products, IP ratings, outputs, and colour options
Understand hidden issues - cable, connections, and waterproofing products
Will know how lighting systems can be controlled.
Have full practical experience on how to install, low voltage lighting along with power supplies and remote controls, be able to set up remote control options, repair damaged cables, zone lighting circuits etc
LEARNING FORMAT
Classroom plus practical workshop sessions, ongoing engagement after the 1 day course.
GOOD TO KNOW
Free membership access (worth £50) to The Landscape Library for 6 months, for all course participants once they have attended a TASK Industry course (includes access to training resources, articles, features, templates, publications, advice notes, cross section drawings and mentorship) . Lunch is not included, we recommend you bring your own packed lunch for each day

There is currently no accommodation available at Lower End Farm for TASK students. There are plenty of local accommodation possibilities, please contact us for a range of options.
