Low Voltage Garden Lighting Training for Landscapers & Designers (1 Day Course)

COURSE OVERVIEW

TASK are delighted to be working with LandscapePlus the leading trade only supplier of water feature systems, garden lighting and irrigation to the UK landscape industry.

 Join Paul Willavoys from Landscape Plus for this 1 day combined classroom and practical landscaping ‘Lighting’ industry course to develop a competitive understanding of lighting products that are fit for the garden environment. This course is for landscapers and garden designers.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, students will:

•  Have a competitive understanding of lighting products so they are fit for the garden environment and how to install low voltage lighting along with remote controls. 

• Be able to plan a lighting scheme and know the options that are available  

• Have an awareness of lighting products, IP ratings, outputs, and colour options

• Understand hidden issues - cable, connections, and waterproofing products

• Will know how lighting systems can be controlled. 

• Have full practical experience on how to install, low voltage lighting along with power supplies and remote controls, be able to set up remote control options, repair damaged cables, zone lighting circuits etc

LEARNING FORMAT

Classroom plus practical workshop sessions, ongoing engagement after the 1 day course.

 
GOOD TO KNOW

Free membership access (worth £50) to The Landscape Library for 6 months, for all course participants once they have attended a TASK Industry course (includes access to training resources, articles, features, templates, publications, advice notes, cross section drawings and mentorship) . • Lunch is not included, we recommend you bring your own packed lunch for each day

• You will receive an automated email from our order system to confirm your booking.

• One week before the date of the course, you will receive a course confirmation email with further information and course joining instructions which includes what to bring with you.

• There is currently no accommodation available at Lower End Farm for TASK students. There are plenty of local accommodation possibilities, please contact us for a range of options.

• Participants are required to have a minimum level 2 in English and Maths.
