Rupert Keys
Founder & MD
With over 30 years’ experience in the landscape and construction industry, Rupert Keys is recognised as one of the leading lights in the UK’s landscape and training industry.
Having worked his way from the ground up, from a labouring gardener in Cheltenham Parks Department, to studying Horticulture at Pershore and for the last three decades running the highly successful business Keyscape Design & Construction, delivering gardens and landscape schemes natiionwide, Rupert Keys knows the landscape industry inside and out.
During his career Rupert has used his expertise to build over 50 award-winning show gardens at some of the UK’s leading gardening events, including his first ever RHS Chelsea Flower Show Garden in 1992, when he caught the bug!

Sarah Phipps
Sarah Phipps
Academy Co-Ordinator
Sarah joined TASK Academy in October 2024 after a 30 year career in support services within housing associations and charities.
She has vast experience of working with local communities and organisations to support people to remain independent and gain skills required to do so.
Sarah has managed large teams within Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, so is used to flexible working to achieve outcomes required.
As part of Sarah’s career she has gained lots of skills in organisation and communication.
It is Sarah’s great pleasure to now share her knowledge and learn a new business working at TASK with Rupert alongside all the amazing training and industry partners.
