Rupert Keys

Founder & MD

With over 30 years’ experience in the landscape and construction industry, Rupert Keys is recognised as one of the leading lights in the UK’s landscape and training industry.

Having worked his way from the ground up, from a labouring gardener in Cheltenham Parks Department, to studying Horticulture at Pershore and for the last three decades running the highly successful business Keyscape Design & Construction with his wife, garden designer Ruth Gwynn, delivering gardens and landscape schemes natiionwide, Rupert Keys knows the landscape industry inside and out.

During his career Rupert has used his expertise to build over 50 award-winning show gardens at some of the UK’s leading gardening events, including his first ever RHS Chelsea Flower Show Garden in 1992, when he caught the bug!

Johanna Brand

General Manager

After 20 years’ experience as a retail buyer for major High Street stores followed by two years in Business Development and Business Coaching, Johanna brings her organisational skills and professional approach to Task Academy.

Looking after all things Business Development, Johanna is working on the growth of TASK Academy and focussing on raising awareness of the TASK courses by building strategic partnerships and actively developing new business opportunities

Karen Lalegname-Addis

Training Co-ordinator

With 20 years of administration and office experience, Karen’s career to date has included a variety of roles from Executive Assistant to Events Management.

Karen brings a wealth of valuable and professional administration, customer service and communication skills to this key TASK training role and along with her warm, friendly and professional manner she is looking forward to being part of the team.

Social Media and Marketing

After years working in marketing and communications for some of the UK’s leading retailers, Tom moved to combine his career expertise with his passion for horticulture, starting his own business, to help the industry to grow and thrive. He joins the team at TASK to help spread the word about everything we do, looking after our Social Media, sharing the latest news, tips & inspiration, what’s happening here at TASK and what’s coming up that you can get involved with.
